We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Project Manager
As a Project Manager for Steward Mellon, you will be involved in all operations of the company. You will be involved with taking projects from inception to final completion while meeting our goals of delivering on-time, under budget, and completed to the highest quality.
PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Support in reviewing budget estimates and final estimates
Develop project schedules
Identify long-lead items that may affect the project schedule
Review plans and ensure scope and expectations for each project
CONSTRUCTION
This will be your primary role in the company. Managing projects of various sizes and their project specific requirements.
Attend Steward Mellon internal meetings
Provide project management support to Superintendent and Jobsite Foremen
Hold kick-off meetings with Foreman and Superintendent before projects start. Make sure they completely understand the scope of work.
Manage all budgets, budget revisions, change orders, etc.
Ensure all site conditions are addressed before the start of Project
Manage all correspondence with Owners, Architects and Superintendents
Document all project activities to deliver a successful project on-time and under budget and built to the NTMA specifications
Ensure the superintendent is managing projects and Foremen properly by providing daily reports with pictures.
Assist in completing pay applications by the 20thof each month per the contract agreement
Update project schedules weekly for distribution to Steward Mellon management
Enforce Steward Mellon safety rules and procedures on each project
Support Steward Mellon’s Quality Control documentation
Provide monthly reports on projects to Management
Advise management of major risk items on each project
Provide monthly financial reports to CFO, as requested, each month
Ensure that all pre-construction meetings have been held with Owner’s, Architects, Subcontractors, etc
Attend Subcontractor meetings, if required
Make sure each project is completed on-time and under budget.
Manage all RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings
Evaluate risk items for Steward Mellon and advise as necessary
POST-CONSTRUCTION:
The warranty period is just as important and any other part of the construction process.
Review any warranty items and delegate as necessary to get repaired/corrected.
Follow-up with Owners/Architects in the timely manner.
Analyze risk of each warranty claim.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
