Steward-Mellon has completed the terrazzo work on the Tampa International Airport baggage claim! This project, 31,000 square feet of three color terrazzo was done in over 50 “microphases”. Gresham-Smith and Partners designed this beautiful project.

ensuring quality and service

Quality and service. These are the marketing bywords of most any terrazzo/stone/industrial flooring contracting firm interested in your business. What sets Steward-Mellon Company apart? Our culture and our process. I am dismayed by the plethora of competing subcontractors who bid projects, ostensibly “per plans and specs”, and who later hit the owners with a slough of extras for “premium aggregates” on the front side and “unforeseen leveling” once the job starts. It is truly not a level playing field when every bid does not include pricing per the control sample, nor do they include, up front, the potential costs for unforeseen jobsite conditions such as moisture mitigation and crack suppression.
